Dems Promoting the Military and Republicans Working to Rein in Pharma? - What’s Going On?

This Blog is not about the 1983 motion picture with Dan Aykroyd and Eddie Murphy. I’m just borrowing the title from this comedy to make a point about the current political situation in Washington D.C. You may have heard the old phrase: “Politics makes for strange bedfellows,” a saying that reflects the sometimes strange alliance between political foes who join forces to accomplish a mutually beneficial end. While that statement is true, it doesn’t go quite far enough as my subtitle above seeks to point out: “What is going on?” To be real, I’ve never witnessed anything close to what is now going on in our nation’s capital: There has been a “drastic realignment of issues,” and it appears that Republicans now champion many of the core issues that Democrats held sacrosanct, including fighting for the Working-Middle-Class and safe Food and Drugs. And Democrats are now the party of “privilege, corporate wealth and the Military-Industrial Complex! It’s like the two Parties have “Traded Places!”
This realignment is the result of quite possibly the most transformative leader America has had since Franklin Delano Roosevelt in the 1930’s and 1940’s. For those of you who are convinced that Trump is a traditional Conservative Republican, think again. While he has the label of Republican, and his enemies on the Liberal Left call him a “Right-Wing Conservative,” nothing could be further from the truth. Donald J. Trump is a “Populist,” and is currently riding a wave of the “more freedom –less government” sentiment that has gripped the country. This sentiment has formed a new coalition of “Blue-Collar-Working-Class” voters joining forces with “pro-America-first” Evangelical Christians and a substantial number of “Working-Class Minority” voters. The opposing sides are no longer Traditional Republicans or Democrats – but rather the “Working-Middle-Class” verses the “Elite-Political-Class.” Many union workers as well as Inner City working poor have witnessed what the “Ruling Class” in both Political Parties have done to American Manufacturing and the Jobs it provided. The policies of the “Elite-Political-Class” have callously hollowed out America’s Industrial Sector – sending American jobs to Mexico, Malasia, China and India. With no other jobs to take their place, our Industrial States have turned into a desolate “Rust Belt!”
And while the new “Religion of Climate Change” did become the “cause-célèbre” for a time, most thinking people eventually realized the “cheat” of the Climate Change Agenda: The pollution and man-made climate change they were told is killing the planet, continues unabated! It was just moved, along with Millions of Middle-Class Jobs to Third World Countries! It may have taken a generation of layoffs, but men and women working in the Auto, Steel and other Manufacturing Industries, figured out the Scam. No thinking person could rationally explain why the “Paris Climate Change Accord” exempted the biggest polluters on the planet (China and India), while hammering the United States out of existence. Something else was going on, a decision had been made on a global level, to collapse the American Economy, forcing the United States into “The New World Order.” In order to do that, they needed to take our jobs, dispirit us with blame for killing the planet with our “selfish, white privilege,” and flood our country with “Foreign Invaders” who didn’t share our values, love of Freedom or the Right to Self Determination!
Enter Donald J. Trump, promising “Tariffs” on Cheap Foreign Products that flood our ports and supply-chain. And while Traditional-Conservative Republicans talked about “Free Trade” – what they proposed was anything but Free! Every other trading partner in the Global Economy had placed Tariffs on our American products, effectively pricing us “out of any of their markets,” while expecting that we allow them to dump their “highly subsidized products” into our markets. This caused American Manufacturers to either collapse, or “Off-Shore” all the Manufacturing to those countries who were Not Playing Fair. Eventually, the American Worker realized the “rigged game,” and rebelled. That Rebellion came by voting for the Populist Republican, Donald J. Trump – who insisted on “Reciprocal Trade.” That means we’ll mirror a foreign country’s Trade Policies “tit-for-tat,” thereby creating a level playing field. Traditional Establishment Republicans callously talk about Free Trade, while ignoring “Unfair Trade Practices” that punish the American Worker! This is not Free Trade!
There has also been a wake-up call to Traditional-Blue-Collar-Democrats with the Invasion of a “cheap-foreign-workforce” through “massive-Illegal-Immigration.” Inner City African Americans are also waking up to the “hateful policies” of the Democrat and Establishment Republican Parties. Using Environmental Regulations to “save the planet” as a pretense, Middle-Class-Workers were always given the “short end of the straw.” Then one man, a Billionaire who didn’t need anyone’s money – came down an escalator in 2015 announcing his candidacy for President, all to “Make America Great Again.” While the forces of “The New World Order” tried desperately to smear him and label him as a Xenophobe, Donald Trump dictated the terms of the debate. Until his candidacy in 2016, no one dared to bring up the “scam of Illegal Immigration.” Neither did anyone dare speak of the total scam and rip-off of the “Green-New-Deal” (as Environmentalist Wackos proclaimed). Trump challenged their very terms, “so-called science” and meaningless outcomes. He called out the “Corporate-Controlled-Legacy-Media” as Fake News, and berated them for looking down their Elite Noses on the Working Class and Average American.
Taking office in 2017, Donald Trump did the unthinkable: He actually did what he promised he would do, delivering on every one of his campaign promises! This added “insult to injury,” so “The New World Order” – working through their minions in the Deep State Blob, decided to take Trump out. But try as they might, they were unable to separate Trump from Average Americans – especially those who work for a living. So in one desperate move – the Alphabet Agencies, working with the “Military-Industrial-Complex,” unleashed a world-wide health care crisis, killing millions – just to cripple Trump’s presidency. They did this to provide cover for the biggest Alphabet Agency Operation yet. But in the process, “The New World Order” ended up destroying the credibility of the Big-Pharma-Medical-Industrial-Complex. Eventually, their deliberate deceptions and corrupt actions have been displayed for all the world to see. Turns out, an evil Oligarch – working with a corrupt government doctor, forced a complete shutdown of the economy, throwing millions of Americans out of work, school and social gatherings!
I don’t think we realized five years ago that these Alphabet Agencies had actually confirmed what many Liberal Democrats had been saying for years: Corrupt Government Agencies killed presidents and civil rights leaders, as well as toppling foreign governments in the past – they have too much unregulated power! Now they are in a cabal with Corporate Pharma, Government and Healthcare, to actually hurt the American people with foreign wars, regime overthrow, processed foods, unsafe childhood medicines and iron-fisted unscientific mandates. Their actions were only to Benefit “Global Elites” and “International Financiers.” When I was much younger, a Democrat Senator from Idaho, Frank Church, did his best to rein in these Agencies. Sadly, at the time Conservative Republicans were convinced that these Agencies were working for the “well-being” of the American people. No doubt, a few were, but these Alphabet Agencies, having gotten in bed with the Mafia and Corporate America during World War II, had obliterated the lines between right and wrong. They ran a phony “Russia-Collusion” operation on a sitting president, Donald Trump – and hounded him for four years during his first term – all because “The New World Order” had requested it, and they personally profited.
So here we are in 2025. Trump has recently triumphed over two assassination attempts, 91 Felony Charges, 4 major lawfare cases based on trumped-up charges, and being outspent by “The New World Order’s” candidate two to one! As we look at his new Administration, we see Robert F. Kennedy Jr. – whose father and uncle were most likely killed by the Alphabet Agencies heading “Health and Human Services” – pledging to rein in the Food and Pharma Industries. This would never have happened except for the Trump realignment and the Global Health Crisis brought on by the same Alphabet Agencies involved in killing his father and uncle. How ironic! They say that Trump is a “disrupter,” and while that’s true, I think he’s actually a Transformational Leader who has finally told the whole country that: “The Emperor Has No Clothes!” Like the famous fable, Trump has allowed all of us to speak the truth and ask for transparency in government. And no one could have predicted that another Billionaire, Elon Musk (who also didn’t need anyone else’s money), has stepped in and rocked Washington and the naked kings and queens to their core! The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) may sound benign, it’s anything but. As many of us suspected, the “Elite-Political-Class” have been using the United States Treasury as their “Piggy Bank.”
Daily we are hearing stories that range from the “ridiculous to the horrific” on Waste, Fraud and Abuse of the American Taxpayers’ money. And while our former PINO (President in Name Only), Joe – couldn’t find any money to help people in North Carolina or California with disaster relief, the “Fat-Cat Elites” have been able to steal Billions and Trillions to feather their own nest. You might wonder, who could possibly be against eliminating “waste, fraud and abuse?” The Democrat Party, showing that it really doesn’t care about Working Americans, resist Trump and Musk, and are fighting to keep their Scams funded. While the Republican Party – supposedly the party of the rich – is championing these revelations and vowing to fix this Behemoth of a Federal Government. It’s like waking up in an alternate universe: Republicans pushing Tariffs, tighter controls on our food and medicine, government efficiency and returning manufacturing and jobs to America. And our so-called “bleeding-heart Democrats” are fighting tooth and nail to keep the “slush fund for wealthy-Elites going.” It’s the Democrats who are mostly in bed with the Alphabet Agencies – demanding Censorship and Spying on Americans. It’s the Democrats who want to put people in jail for “misinformation” (that is any information with which they disagree). It’s the Democrats who fought tooth and nail to keep funding senseless wars to enrich their donors in the Military-Industrial-Complex. I’m not sure what this world is coming to, but it will be interesting to see if things really can change. I think history is much like a pendulum. Right now, it sure looks like it is swinging back toward justice and freedom!
I hope and pray that the Populist MAGA Republican Party keeps fighting for “Truth, Justice, and the American Way,” but even more importantly – I pray for a real Spiritual Awakening, a Revival of Gospel Truth and Godly Citizens!
